friendly staff cute penguins food quality processed cheese

the staff was very friendly and helpful. shalika specifically ensured my stay was comfortable. she cleaned my room well and even made towel penguins, a nice touch.

i found the food quality at the beach and pool area lacking. the nachos i had were not good. it seemed they used processed cheese instead of real cheese.

i visited the coral restaurant and found the food delicious. jane and adil provided excellent service. they always made sure we had drinks and cleared empty plates quickly.

rude hostess dirty toilets

the service at la mar beach on ladies day was awful. the hostess seemed annoyed i even arrived and getting a sunbed was like a fight i even booked early and requested one specifically i still had to argue before someone bothered to help. also they changed happy hour rules mid-order i confirmed the happy hour menu before ordering my drink but then a supervisor told me i would pay regular price since they discontinued it that day. the toilets were also filthy with no toilet paper or hand towels. it was just a terrible experience from start to finish

The hotel fell short on delivering promised benefits. I am a Diamond member, but I did not receive a room upgrade despite my status and a several-night stay. The room assigned was standard and had small windows. This was not what I expect from a luxury hotel loyalty program. It was like a real oversight.
